This is a hugely impressive and powerful environment for almost any audio editing task. It has a really good workflow for podcasters. It is common for bedroom producers to master their own stuff, but at the higher ends of the market dedicated professionals do that work. WaveLab Pro exists because not all mastering engineers are producers, and having a produce that is designed for that specific niche is advantageous to those people.
